I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea

Hi! I’m from Seattle and am here in Paris this week for work. Found your blog while browsing for Seattle-Paris recommendations.
Just a quick email to let you know that it is completely pouring down rain in Seattle. It has been that way for weeks, well months, now. I’m sure you may miss the socks with sandals, love of quinoa and Microsoft traffic….but please try not to. At least for your year here.
Thanks so much for commenting– I think you are the first person other than my mom to visit my blog, so this is really exciting for me!
And thanks for the weather update… I guess June-uary is a global phenomenon. At least in Paris the polar fleece is kept to a minimum, even if the temperatures are dreary.
Enjoy your week in France, and your quinoa, emmer, & rye upon return to Seattle!
I'm from Seattle and I live in Paris. I'm really poor but, as Hemingway recognized, being young and poor and in Paris is a recipe for being very happy. Then again, that was a long time ago.
